Franco Anzelmo is a sculptor based in Hong Kong and China. He was born in Ravenna, Italy in 1955. His father and mother are goldsmiths and his grandfather was a sculptor of wood. Franco obtained his Ph.D. in Fine Art from the Academy of Fine Arts Brera, Milan and studied art in the cities of Venice and Florence. About his work he says: “I have always paid great attention to social topics and the human condition; watching over people’s feelings and their living environment. In particular, I like to observe people’s relationships with each other and the unknown fate that hangs over us. He is represented by Red Elation Gallery in Hong Kong and took part to the 53th Venice Biennale.
